There is a mix on Brand New Eyes. This album isn’t their best album yet. There could of been a few songs on this album that shouldn’t of been on here. Paramore is still going strong with half the album, the other half isn’t as great as it could have been. I think the best song on this album is Decode, also from the Twilight soundtrack. I wanted Brand New Eyes to have a lot of songs like Decode, but Brand New Eyes, is a lot like Riot! I thought they would have changed it up a bit on their third album.

I will admit i have not bought this cd yet. But it sounds like a good album by paramore from the samples i listedned to. i know i wont be able to buy it for a while to listen to all of it since i’m groundedfor breaking my mom’s digital camera(it was an accident, i swear)but i bet i will love it. i looove paramore.the end!

I have listened to Paramore now for about 5-6 years…This album is most definitely not their best work…Paramore’s first CD was by far the best that they came out with, their 2nd CD was okay, again not their best work…but this CD I would have to say is the worst they’ve come out with by far…It is sad, but expected from most bands these days…

I’m seeing this band through “brand new eyes” after listening to this. I really liked Riot! and All We Know Is Falling, but I don’t know what happened here. There are really only 3 great songs on this record, so if the MP3 album download is not $3.99 anymore, see below which songs to buy.
Careful – 2nd best song on the record.
Ignorance – 3rd best song.
Playing God – Just an ok song, “the way I see it”.
Brick by Boring Brick – Boring is right, buda pa.
Turn it Off – I agree.
The Only Exception – Exactly right. Not the typical paramore song but not good either.
Feeling Sorry – How I felt about buying this CD after listening this far.
Looking Up – Not so much, this song is bad, bad, bad.
Where the Lines Overlap – “No one is as lucky as us?” Really??? I think the Twilight success has inflated the band’s ego.
Misguided Ghosts – Best song on the record (but too short).
All I Wanted – I’m still left wanting more… Misguided Ghosts would have been a better song to end this misguided record.
